Intimate banda-style cottage for solo travellers. En-suite bathroom, private veranda, and a king bed framed by the sounds of the African bush.
Travelling alone, I wanted somewhere private and comfortable, and the single cottage was exactly that. The veranda was perfect for morning coffee while watching the bush wake up. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in for a long time.
The cottage itself was lovely, but what stood out was the staff. Someone always seemed to notice what I needed before I asked — fresh towels, extra blankets in the evening, a torch left by the door for night walks to the dining area.
